Tour the capitol This links you to the contact information to schedule a tour.
Visit Committee meetings for House and Senate This link provides a calendar of scheduled committee meetings and room locations.
Watch House and Senate proceedings These links provide the daily calendars for debate in the House and Senate.
Dine with your legislator in the Capitol Cafeteria The ground floor is home to the cafeteria which offers a wide range of meal options. You will want to plan ahead to set this up with your legislator.
Visit the Historical Museum After meeting with your legislators, you may wish to walk across the street to the State of Iowa Historical Museum (just west of the capitol) and take in the wonderful displays celebrating our state's heritage.
Visit the Historic East Village Enjoy shopping, dining, history, and attractions in this historic area near the capitol.
