President Gary Smith called the special meeting of the Iowa Association of County Extension Councils to order at 9:40 a.m.

Sybil Soukup moved to amend Article 8 of the by-laws as follows: 

New board members will take office on July 1 at the June meeting of the year in which they are elected.

Joe Van Ginkel seconded the motion.  No discussion followed.

Ron Fransen moved to adjourn the special meeting.  Sybil Soukup seconded the motion.  The special meeting was adjourned.
